1948 The name of the Warm Climate Plants Station was changed as Regional Seed Breeding and Experiment Station.
1957 The name of the Regional Seed Breeding and Experiment Station was changed as Regional Agricultural Research Institute.
1960 Antalya Rubber Station and Sericulture and Poultry Station were combined with the Regional Agricultural Research Institute.
1965 Vegetable Station was established in Aksu.
1965 The name of the Horticulture Station was changed as Citrus Research Institute.
1968 Antalya Biological Control Research Institute was established in Antalya (Çallı).

1978 Agricultural Production and Farmer Training Center was established by transforming the Agricultural Vocational High School which was established in 1967.

1982 Agricultural Production and Farmer Training Center and Regional Cotton Research Institute were included to The Mediterranean Regional Agricultural Research Institute and its name was changed as The Directorate of Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute.
1987 The name of the The Directorate of Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute was changed as Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute.
1987 The name of the Vegetable Station was changed as Greenhouse Research Institute.
1987 Citrus Research Institute was incorporated to Biological Control Research Institute.
1994 Greenhouse Research Institute and Citrus Research Institute were combined and their name was changed as Citrus and Greenhouse Research Institute.
2004 Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute and Citrus and Greenhouse Research Institute were combined and their name was changed as Batı Akdeniz Agricultural Research Institute (BAARI).
