-The effects of the plant nutrients and soil regulators to the physical and chemical properties of the soil and nutritional status of the plants,

-Evaluation of the organic wastes and effects to the environment,

-Appropriate fertilizing techniques,

-Soil, plant, water, organic material and fertilizer analyses,

-Soilless culture techniques.

In the water management unit, research studies are being conducted about the;​

-Water management, efficient usage of the water,

-Effects of the climatic changes to the water resources and plant production,

-Appropriate water stress levels,

-Water quality used in the agricultural irrigation and water contamination.​
