An Opening Panel of Extension Project on Composing of Irrigation Program by Sub-Surface Drip Irrigation Systems for Cotton and Corn which was conducted in our Center was held in our Center on 28th March 2018. 85 technical staff meeting from Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock of Department of Training, Extension and Publications, İzmir Provincial Directorate, District Directorates of Ödemiş, Torbalı and Bergama and farmers were participated to the panel.
During the panel, subjects on soil plant water relations, use of plant water consumption technical guide, projecting and operation of sub-surface drip irrigation system were discussed.
Panelists from the Department of Agricultural Structures and Irrigation of Ege University and the representatives of the private sector talked in the scope of the panel, then project field was visited.
