9th International Course on Sustainable Management of Soil and Water Resources was held in our Center with 9 participants from Iran, Sudan, Tunisia, India and Bulgaria between 09-20 July 2018.
During the course, lecturers from Ege University Faculty of Agriculture, Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture, Konya Soil, Water and Deserting Control Research Institute, Dicle University Faculty of Agriculture, Çukurova University Faculty of Agriculture, Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Agriculture, Atatürk University Faculty of Agriculture, Selçuk University Faculty of Agriculture also experts from Soil, Fertilizer and Water Resources Central Research Institute and our Center instructed lectures.
Within the scope of the program two technical excursions were organized. First week of the course participants visited Menemen Left Bank Irrigation Union and Emiralem Regulator. Second week they visited Seferihisar Ürkmez Irrigation Facilities of State Hydraulic Works. Besides, a touristic trip was organized to Ancient City of Ephesus, Şirince Village and to Foça for the weekend.
