Participation to International Bread Congress was Provided.

The International Bread Festival was held at the Cer Modern Arts Center from October 13th to October 15th, 2017. In the festival which was organized by Mine Ataman Bread and Ru-An Fairs, various public institutions and NGOs as well as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkic Republics, Germany, Argentina, Belarus, Morocco, South Africa, Israel, Italy, Ukraine and many other countries took place.
Turgay Şanal, who is the head of the Food and Quality Evaluation Department made a speech entitled "Gluten Reality" as an invited speaker at the Festival,
In addition, Adem Yurt from the employees of the Department made a show how gluten is obtained from flour sample, and Oğuz Acar (Food Engineer, MSc.) informed the participants about the gluten.
Within the scope of the activities, the panel titled "Bread and Health" was performed by the moderation of Dr. Hamit Köksel (Hacettepe University, ICC President) and participation of Prof. Dr. Nevin Şanlıer (Gazi University), Prof.Dr. Dr. Alptekin Karagöz (Aksaray University), Sertaç Dr. Sertaç Özer (Çukurova University), and Ali İlkbahar (General Director of Ankara Public Bread Factory).
