The technical personnel trainings' performed within the Institute, organization of scientific meeting, preparations of printed-visual materials and providing library services; besides the projects such as EUPHRESCO, TWINNING, CORE-ORGANIC, ARIM-NET and COST supporting by EU, in line with the objectives of the Agricultural Research Master Plan coordination of planning and preparation' of projects supported by FAO, WORLD BANK, TÜBİTAK, BOREN, BAP and TAGEM are the tasks of the department.

Other tasks of the department are;

• To conduct the presentation activities of the Institute and to prepare the necessary tools for this purpose,
• To coordinate the internship works performed in the Institute
• To coordinate the integrated pest management trainings on apple, pear and quince; wheat, potato, vegetable and legumes,
• To assist the researchers in preparing the projects in accordance with the disposition and content specified in the Agricultural Research Management Implementation Guide and the coordination of Research Committee,
• To organize the Program Evaluation Meetings held annually by TAGEM in the Institute,
• To ensure that the decisions of the new proposal projects and the resulting projects accepted in the research management committee are communicated to the researcher and applied in line with the decisions,
• To make negotiations and correspondence with TAGEM and other Institutes about the projects,
• To create a database of the research subjects planned,
• To create a digital archive that includes all the projects carried out at the Institute,
• To organize the Publication Committee, which evaluates all kinds of printed and visual scientific publications to be made/included by researchers working at the Institute.
